Steven Ziviello

Biography

Detective Sergeant Ziviello started his law enforcement career with the Aldan Police Department as a part time patrolman in 1995. After serving with the Upper Darby Township Police Department and the United States Department of Defense, Detective Sergeant Ziviello returned to the Aldan Police Department where he has been serving in a full time capacity since January 2005. Detective Sergeant Ziviello is charged with several responsibilities overseeing all criminal investigations, accident investigations, criminal court liaison and evidence custodian. Detective Sergeant Ziviello  serves as the firearms instructor for Aldan Borough and Delaware County Municipal Police Academy. Served 11 years as a member of the Delaware County Region 1 Emergency Response Team as a SWAT Tactical Officer. Conducted assignments with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration and United States Marshall Service.

Detective Sergeant Ziviello is a graduate at the Delaware County Municipal Police Academy, the Sarasota County Technical Institute of Fire Science and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Narcotic Investigator School. He is an FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Administration Triology Award recipient, completing training disciplines in Executive Leadership, Supervisor Leadership Institute for Law Enforcement Executive and Command Institude for Law Enforcement Executives.
