Declaration of Disaster for 2/22-23/26 Snow Event Aldan Borough

Aldan Borough has issued a Declaration of Disaster for Aldan Borough due to the pending snow storm on February 22nd and 23rd, 2026.

Residents are encouraged to park in their driveways and on the even side of the street to allow snow plows easy access to roadways.

Trash removal on Monday, February 23rd is still pending. In the event trash does not get picked up on Monday, it will be picked up on Thursday, February 26th. The Borough will update the website as events develop.

In the event of several inches of accumulation, the Municipal Building will be Closed on Monday, February 23rd. Please send contact us and leave a message at 610-626-3554 or call 911 for an emergency.

As a reminder to residents, please have your sidewalks shoveled and cleared of at least 24 inches wide by 24 hours of the conclusion of the storm. Please do not throw snow into the roadways as it will be plowed back against the curb, driveways, and other vehicles causing a challenge for those who need to utilize their vehicle.
